Albino boy dismembered by gang for body parts near Burudi-Tanzania...for magic potions!
The boy, aged nine, was taken from Makamba province in Burundi by a gang that crossed the border, the head of Burundi's albino association said.  Kassim Kazungu told AFP the remains had been recovered from the Malagarazi river and given a formal burial.  Albino body parts are prized in parts of Africa, with witch-doctors claiming they have special powers.

A shady Svengali who runs an upstate "cult" bankrolled by the Bronfman booze fortune has "had people killed," he boasts in an explosive new video.  Keith Raniere, head of Albany-based "self-help" group NXIVM, makes the chilling claim on tape to female followers who confronted him just before they defected from the group, which has been derided by detractors as a harmful "cult."  "Here's the thing," Raniere says on the 2009 video, which was sent to The Post. "I've had people killed because of my beliefs -- or because of their beliefs."

Paganism is on the rise in the Southeast of the United States
Advocates of paganism say it is on the rise in the "Southeast Valley, mirroring a nationwide trend of growth in nature-based religions. Many local followers have been celebrating their beliefs and seeking the same acceptance and respect as any other religion.  Heather Frazier, owner of A Magickal Moon store in Tempe, which serves the pagan community, says acceptance is definitely growing as more pagans buck stereotypes and blend in with the mainstream.
