Chupacabra caught alive in Oklahoma, dubbed the 'Dry, Gulch Chupacabra'!  Unfortunately the first live specimen is actually a raccoon with mange.

Geobiologist Felisa Wolfe-Simon looking into mysterious, 'wierd' microscopic lifeforms living within the mud and water of Mono Lake, near Yosemite National Park, California.  According to Wolfe-Simon, funded by the Nasa Astrobiology Institute, "the biological make-up is so fundamentally different from that of any known life on Earth that it may provide proof of a shadow biosphere, a second genesis for life on this planet".
