Apparition of the Virgin Mary appears on Texas apartment building...according to residents
Residents at an apartment complex on FM 482 say they have a renewed sense of hope after they say the Virgin Mary came to them.  Linda Cabrera says she saw the apparition for the first time on an early Saturday morning two weeks ago.  "It was shiny, just like the shape of the Virgin Mary," Cabrera said.  Cabrera said the apparition appeared to be floating on the wall of a building. It lasted for two to three hours, she added.  "No joke, this is something awesome -- it's amazing," she said.  The amazing image, Cabrera said, returned again exactly a week later around the same time.  "A lot of beautiful things came to mind," Cabrera said, "It's a big miracle."  She wasn't the only one to see the apparition. Other residents claim they saw the image on the building, too.

Manson cult member and murderer Robert Beausoleil denied parole

California officials have rejected parole for a follower of cult leader Charles Manson for the 15th time.  The state's Board of Parole Hearings decided Monday that Robert Beausoleil (boh-so-LAY') can try again in five years.  Beausoleil, who is 63, was an aspiring musician and actor before he joined the Manson family.  He was arrested for the murder of musician Gary Hinman in August 1969.  He was in jail when other Manson followers killed actress Sharon Tate and four others, then murdered grocer Leno LaBianca and his wife Rosemary.  Beausoleil was convicted of Hinman's murder in 1970 and sentenced to death. The sentence was commuted to life when the California Supreme Court found the death penalty unconstitutional in 1972.

Retired British police detective and son of 'Nessie-hunter' claims he saw the Loch Ness Monster twice!
Simon Dinsdale, a retired police detective from Essex, insists that the two minute film recorded 50 years ago by his father, a famous Nessie-hunter, is genuine.  The footage, shot by Tim Dinsdale in 1960, is one of the best-known images put forward as evidence by those who insist on the existence of the mysterious creature.  Now the insistence of those who believe in Nessie that the film is genuine has been lent new weight after Mr Dinsdale claimed he had seen the monster with his own eyes on two occasions.

Owen Coyle, manager of the Bolton Wanderers professional soccer team, suspected of burying 'lucky' fetishes under each goal
Sky Sports caught Bolton manager/possible god Owen Coyle alone on the Reebok Stadium pitch before his side beat Blackburn 2-1 on Sunday thanks to a fantastic late goal from Stu Holden while a man down. The puzzled Sky team collectively turned their heads to the side as they watched Coyle appear to bury something in the ground with a spoon inside each goal. Was it superstition? A ritual? Some kind of James Bondish electronic device?!
