Mentalist the Amazing Kreskin predicts the War on Terror will finally come to an end...in 150 years
Famed mentalist The Amazing Kreskin has some good news and some bad news.  The good news? There will be an end to the current war on terror.  Now the bad news: Nobody currently living on this planet will be alive to see it.

CIA had hypnosis program in the early 1950's according to privacy website Cryptome




Before there was WikiLeaks, there was Cryptome. (And it's probably a safe bet that after WikiLeaks is long gone, there will still be a Cryptome.) Via Spencer Ackerman at Wired's Danger Room, here's a pair of memos, posted to the intelligence-secrets website, that show the CIA was all up in that Inception-type business in the Cold War: using deep hypnosis to create unwitting double agents and implant secret communications in their brains, where they can't be intercepted! UFO appearing over New Zealand probably a satellite according to astronomers say!

Mysterious "orangey and reddish lights" spotted in skies above Napier, Taranaki and Christchurch were a day too late to be Santa's sleigh but could they be UFOs?  Reports of strange objects in the sky on Boxing Day have been made in three separate locations, with the first sighting of the moving orange lights in Taranaki on Sunday night.  However, the Canterbury Astronomical Society is convinced the Christchurch lights were satellites.
