Buried deep beneath the sediment of the North Atlantic Ocean lies an ancient, lost landscape with furrows cut by rivers and peaks that once belonged to mountains. Psychic's 'tip' leaves Texas police on wild goose chase for hoaxed mass murder grave site

Texas police were investigating whether a tip-off from a psychic about a mass grave containing dozens of dismembered bodies was in fact a hoax after an intense search found no bodies.  State, local and federal agents combed the area around a rural home after a woman who claimed to be psychic called police twice to report the mass grave at in Hardin, Texas about 50 miles (31 kilometers) northeast of Houston.

Amateur astronomer believes he has found evidence of 'space stations' on Mars, using Google Mars!

We have all heard of little green men from Mars.  But now an American 'armchair astronaut' claims to have discovered a mysterious structure on the surface of the red planet - by looking on Google earth.  David Martines, whose YouTube video of the 'station' has racked up over 200,000 hits so far, claims to have randomly uncovered the picture while scanning the surface of the planet one day.

Italian art historian believes the Shroud of Turin dates back to the Italian artist Giotto di Bondone in 1315

Luciano Buso claims to have found Giotto di Bondone's signature hidden in the 14ft-long, sepia-coloured burial cloth, as well as the number 15.  The historian believes that the number is a reference to 1315, and that the artist was commissioned in that year to come up with an exact copy of the relic because the original was badly damaged after centuries of being hawked around the Holy Land and Europe.

Australian Department of Defense claims it accidentally lost it's UFO 'X-files'

COULD there be any better fodder for Australia's conspiracy theorists? The Department of Defence has ''lost'' its X-Files.  For decades, Defence officials dutifully investigated an unknown number of UFO sightings being reported all over the country. Intelligence officers attached to the Royal Australian Air Force checked the known movement of aircraft against reported sightings, and politely responded by mail to everyone who claimed they saw floating lights or flat saucers or streaking vapour trails. Some of the files were marked as classified.

Site near Stirling Castle in Scotland, may shed new light on the legendary King Arthur

Man stargazing captures photo of UFO over Bendigo, Australia

A WOODVALE stargazer has captured a series of extraordinary photographs of what he says could be an unidentified flying object hovering above Bendigo.  Forty-eight-year-old Colin Davis told the Bendigo Advertiser he spotted the object last Saturday night (January 8) between midnight and 5am.

An NBC 33 viewer claims to have caught an "alien-looking thing" on a deer cam. He chooses to remain anonymous but says the pic was taken on a reserve in Berwick near Morgan City. Australian teen captures images of alien in his backyard

Alex Player has captured footage of what appears to be a mysterious alien creature moving in his backyard.
The 16-year-old Bilambil Heights resident has captured four different encounters with the alien creature on film and believes the creature has entered his home.  “The first time I saw it was the clearest. It was not that tall – only as high as the grass – and a grey colour with a big head,” Alex said.

UFO sighted over the hills over rural Australia

Adam Cainero believes he captured a photograph of an alien spacecraft hovering above an escarpment near Majors Creek, in the Southern Tablelands near Braidwood. After an unsuccessful weekend fossicking for gold Mr Cainero and a friend were making the long trip home when he stopped to take a snap of the steep mountain they had driven down.  When he got home, Mr Cainero said he realised he had found gold of another kind after all.  "I just took a picture of the mountain range and the sun was in my eyes so I just kind of pointed and shot," Mr Cainero said. "Then we looked at the picture - we were, like, no way."  With its shape and its position in the sky, Mr Cainero said he immediately knew the black object was a UFO.

Bigfoot sighing in Northern California causes hysteria

It’s a big, hairy ape-like creature that has a distinctive fowl odor say those who claim to have encountered “Bigfoot,” or “Sasquatch,” as its commonly called. Some UFO sightings could be explained by ball lightning and other atmospheric phenomena, claims Australian astrophysicist Stephen Hughes.  The scientist has made a detailed study of an unusual event in 2006 when large meteors were observed over Brisbane.  Their appearance occurred at the same time as a brilliant green object was seen to roll over nearby mountains.

Grandma accused of witchcraft in Ghana burnt to death!

A 72-year-old grandmother suffered one of the most barbaric of deaths when she was burnt alive by a mob at Tema Site 15 after being accused of being a witch.  A student-nurse, who appeared on the scene, attempted to rescue the old woman from her ordeal but she died of her burns within 24 hours of arrival at the Tema General Hospital.  Five people who allegedly tortured and extracted the confessions of witchcraft from Ama Hemmah before drenching her in petrol and setting her ablaze have been arrested by the Tema Police.

New photo at Loch Ness brings hope to Nessie hunters!

Richard Preston, a landscape designer, has been the latest person to spot a mysterious shape that might be the Loch Ness monster and capture a series of images on camera.  While working on Aldourie Castle gardens on the banks of the Loch Ness, 27-year-old Mr Preston spotted a shape on the loch's surface out of the corner of his eye.

'Flying object' falls to the sky in Florida

Several Polk County viewers called FOX 13 yesterday evening to report something in the sky.  The callers believed the object may have been a meteor or other object entering Earth's atmosphere.  Photos sent by one viewer showed the bright object with some sort of vapor or smoke trail behind it. They were taken at around 5:45 p.m.  It's not clear if the object was a passenger jet with its exhaust trail illuminated by the setting sun, or if it was a meteor or piece of space junk being burned up as it entered the atmosphere.  FOX 13 has been unable to reach any experts who could confirm either theory.

Sydney jury watch graphic video of Black Magic-Rape case involving a demonic voice called 'King Russell'

Frances Psichogios, her husband Arthur and their friend Tony Golossian are charged with a string of sex offences against two women.  Today a Supreme Court jury watched footage from the day Frances Psichogios was arrested more than two years ago.  In the video she tells detectives how she took a woman to naked prayer sessions led by Golossian to help her lift a curse using black magic.  She describes how she told the woman she might feel things that are not actually happening.  But she repeatedly rejects claims the woman was drugged and raped, saying "this is sickening ... he's a healer".  The court also heard a recording of a phone call in which a demonic-sounding voice tells the alleged victim to have sex with Arthur Psichogios.

Australian 'holy man' Tony Golossiancharged with sexual assault and misuse of intoxicating substances during a prayer session which involved a voodoo doll, fetishes and the victim's undergarments!

Voodoo dolls, pornographic text messages and fetishes made from the hair and underpants of a woman sexually assaulted during a series of prayer session were used to convince her she was cursed, the District Court has heard.  The alleged victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told the court she had been raised a Greek Orthodox and taught by her parents that curses could be put on people causing ''generally just bad, bad things''.

English woman captures picture of a very strange UFO in Nuremberg

A woman from York captured an unexplained object in her holiday snaps this month, and wants your help identifying it.  Abbey Linfoot, 22, was on a European holiday with her boyfriend when she took a photo of this street in Nuremberg.  When she looked at the photo later, she saw something she couldn’t explain, high above the buildings.

Vatican astronomer exclaims, "I'd love to baptize ET"!

Intelligent aliens may be living among the stars and are likely to have souls, a senior Vatican scientist said yesterday.  The Pope's astronomer, Guy Consolmagno, said he would be happy to 'baptise an al ien' - but admitted that the chances of communicating with life outside the Earth were low.  Speaking at the British Science Festival in Birmingham, Dr Consolmagno also dismissed Creationism and claimed that the revival of 'intelligent design' - the controversial theory that only God can explain gaps in the theory of evolution - was 'bad theology'.

World's very first astronomers may have been Australia's ancient Aborigines

An Australian study has uncovered signs that the country's ancient Aborigines may have been the world's first stargazers, pre-dating Stonehenge and Egypt's pyramids by thousands of years.  Ray Norris said widespread and detailed knowledge of the stars had been passed down through the generations by Aborigines, whose history dates back tens of millennia, in traditional songs and stories.  "We know there's lots of stories about the sky: songs, legends, myths," said Norris, an astronomer for Australia's science agency, the Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organisation (CSIRO).

Australian Federal Government partner with Church of Scientology in anti-drug campaign causes concern

Concerns have been raised about a partnership between the Federal Government and a drug awareness group run by members of the controversial Church of Scientology.
Corporate lawyer and researcher Grainne O’Donovan said the partnership could potentially be used by the church, through Drug Free Ambassadors Australia (DFAA), to try to recruit members from schools and youth groups.

Ford station wagon shaped UFO causes Australian woman to drive off road

Da Vinci Code tourist attraction Rosslyn Chapel in need of repairs!?

After 14 years in hiding, Rosslyn Chapel’s roof is once again exposed to the elements – only this time, it’s rainproof.  The upper part of the church was covered with scaffolding and weatherproofing in 1996 in a bid to protect its famous interior.  The 15cm thick stone barrel roof had been letting rain in for hundreds of years and the continual dampness had begun to cause internal decay.

Australian psychic hoping to locate missing girl, instead finds human torso near Sydney

A psychic trying to help find missing girl Kiesha Abrahams has discovered a woman's torso in bushland in Sydney's west.  The dismembered body was found near the edge of Eastern Creek at Doonside about 6:30pm (AEST) yesterday.  It is not believed the remains belong to Kiesha, the six-year-old who went missing from her home in nearby Mount Druitt about a fortnight ago.  Police say the woman who found the torso was walking through the bush because she had a feeling there was a body there.

UFO captured on camera of airplane passenger flying over Brazil

An astonishing UFO event has taken place in the skies above Brazil. Photographs have come to light of a UFO that monitored a plane and terrified travellers. The incident was first reported by the popular UFO website www.ufocasebook.com.  The man who took the photos as the plane flew over Rio de Janiero (three in total and two of which can be viewed above and below) was a passenger on the airplane who was on vacation.  Several other passengers saw the object in question, which was described by witnesses as an egg-shaped ball of light.  Some passengers screamed in fear as they felt the plane was too close to the UFO, and there was the possibility of a collision between the two craft.  According to statements of passengers, the UFO maneuvered among the clouds, but continued to monitor the aircraft for about two minutes .  The camera used to capture the UFO was a Nokia 3120 Classic.  This publication has extensively reported on small orbs sent by an alien civilization located in Andromeda to monitor Earth and has received information that these orbs enter Earth above Brazil through a star-gate. The orbs are "unmanned" and travel across galaxies at speeds well beyond that of light.  Government scientists studying UFOs make frequent trips to Brazil and will certainly be studying this case.
