Opus Dei being sued by French woman claiming to have been brainwashed by church!

A French woman claiming to have been brainwashed by the secretive Catholic society Opus Dei is suing it for allegedly keeping her illegally as a domestic servant, she told AFP Tuesday.  Catherine T., who asked not to be identified by her family name, said she joined a hoteliers' school in northeastern France in 1985, aged 14, which she later discovered was run by associates of Opus Dei.  She said she was forced to take vows and made to work as a domestic servant for virtually no pay.

Seymour Hersh claims many members of high-ranking U.S. military are members of Opus Dei and the Knights of Malta (formally the Knight Hospitallers) 

Veteran investigative reporter Seymour Hersh has broken some massive stories in his day, but uncovering secret societies within the highest echelons of America's military would probably be the biggest of his career.
Well, get ready for the media storm, because that's essentially what Hersh told an audience in Doha, Qatar recently, according to a report published earlier this week by Foreign Policy.

Manson cult follower Patricia Krenwinkel denied parole

Patricia Krenwinkel, a former Charles Manson "family" member and participant in the 1969 Tate-La Bianca murders in California, has been denied parole again. Krenwinkel said of the Manson family murders, "I just wanted him (Manson) to love me."  Parole Commissioner Susan Melanson, along with Deputy Parole Commissioner Steven Hernandez, denied Krenwinkel's parole request.
