Ancient boulder in Ireland, may prove link to Early Bronze Age Irish and ancient North Americans

For eleven years an enigmatic, 11 feet long boulder has been on display in the Hall of Ancients in the Funk Heritage Museum on the campus of Reinhardt University. Thousands of people viewed the boulder. All thought it was something very “special.” Few visitors could make sense out of the concentric rings, circles with crosses, stars and something that looks like a dogwood flower or primitive rose. These carved symbols are known to archaeologists as petroglyphs.

Site near Stirling Castle in Scotland, may shed new light on the legendary King Arthur

A circular earthen mound near Stirling Castle has been linked variously to the legendary king, to British aristocrats and to Roman invaders, but its origins remain shrouded in history.  Now, for the first time, a team of archaelogists from Glasgow University is preparing to use hi-tech scanners to survey the ground beneath it, providing a clear insight into the mound’s beginnings.

Rise in belief of witchcraft in Britain goes hand-in-hand with unreported cases of child abuse

Australian couple (and cult leaders?) claim they're Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene!

The pair, real names Alan John Miller, who once lived in Loxton in South Australia's Riverland, and Mary Suzanne Luck, operate from rural Wilkesdale near Kingaroy, where they have been joined by an increasing band of followers.  "My name is Jesus, and I'm serious," Miller said in a video recording from one workshop.

West Hollywood psychic arrested for fraud, and burglary among other charges after advising woman to buy gold bars to create a 'shield' to ward off evil

A woman claiming to be a psychic will be arraigned today on 36 felony counts relating to commercial burglary, credit fraud and grand theft against an Irvine woman. Lisa Debbie Adams, 34, told an Irvine woman she was cursed and instructed her do things like purchase $30,000 in gold bars to create a “shield” and open credit cards to buy luxury items to “ward off evil,” according to the district attorney’s office.

According to a professor at the University of Cambridge, by combining Biblical references and modern astronomy...The Last Supper was 24 hours early!

Christians have long marked Jesus Christ's Last Supper on Maundy Thursday but new research by a leading academic suggests they have got the wrong date.  Professor Colin Humphreys, a scientist at the University of Cambridge, has now concluded that the final meal took place on the Wednesday before the crucifixion, a day earlier than previously accepted.  He believes his findings, which are likely to cause ripples among millions of Christians, could present a case for finally introducing a fixed date for Easter.

White House goes on alert after thousands of mysterious cattle mutilation across the country in the 1970's

Cows were sacrificed by aliens sending the White House into a panic declassified FBI files have revealed.
It is claimed that more than 8,000 cows were abducted by UFOs before they were mutilated and thrown back down to earth over the southern United States during the 1970s.  The memo is one of thousands of previously unreleased classified files that the bureau has made public in a new online resource called The Vault.

Documentary journalist Simcha Jacobovici believes he may have two of the real nails that crucified Jesus!

Just in time for Easter, an Israeli television journalist has produced a pair of nails he says may have been used to crucify Jesus Christ. "We're not saying these are the nails," says Simcha Jacobovici, holding aloft a pair of smallish iron spikes with the tips hammered to one side. "We're saying these could be the nails."

Cave in Jordan revealed to seventy ancient books going back almost 2000 years may have first portrait of Jesus Christ!?

New research by archeologists believe that ancient builders used 'ball bearings' to construct Stonehenge

When it comes to mystical places on Earth, few can rival Stonehenge -- the enigmatic stone monument sitting on the Salisbury Plain of southern England. And now comes a new theory that suggests the Neolithic builders who erected Stonehenge may have used ball bearings to move the giant stones into place.  Aligned in a circle and made up of 30 vertical standing stones -- called megaliths -- over 10 feet tall and weighing many tons, Stonehenge is believed to be somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 years old.  An archaeological study, the Stonehenge Riverside Project, suggested in 2008 that the original purpose of Stonehenge was as a burial ground.

Ancient British carving the Uffington White Horse may actually be the Uffington Dog

Retired vet Olaf Swarbrick has said the ancient carving in the Oxfordshire hillside is not anatomically correct and has more canine-like features.  But the National Trust, which said soil samples indicated that the figure dated back 3,000 years to the Bronze Age, has rejected Mr Swarbrick's ideas.  However it admitted there were many theories about the carving.

Long View, Texas family shoots critter and assumes it could be a chupacabra!

An East Texas family says they had no choice but to open fire when a 35-pound, canine-like animal started snarling and snapping at their family pet.  It was something they had never seen. Their only thought? It must be a Chupacabra.  The creature was spotted near a home on Hunt Road, in a rural area near Pine Tree.  They first saw it fighting with the family dog, but the Valenzuela family could not identify exactly what they were seeing.

Vatican astronomer exclaims, "I'd love to baptize ET"!

Intelligent aliens may be living among the stars and are likely to have souls, a senior Vatican scientist said yesterday.  The Pope's astronomer, Guy Consolmagno, said he would be happy to 'baptise an al ien' - but admitted that the chances of communicating with life outside the Earth were low.  Speaking at the British Science Festival in Birmingham, Dr Consolmagno also dismissed Creationism and claimed that the revival of 'intelligent design' - the controversial theory that only God can explain gaps in the theory of evolution - was 'bad theology'.

World's very first astronomers may have been Australia's ancient Aborigines

An Australian study has uncovered signs that the country's ancient Aborigines may have been the world's first stargazers, pre-dating Stonehenge and Egypt's pyramids by thousands of years.  Ray Norris said widespread and detailed knowledge of the stars had been passed down through the generations by Aborigines, whose history dates back tens of millennia, in traditional songs and stories.  "We know there's lots of stories about the sky: songs, legends, myths," said Norris, an astronomer for Australia's science agency, the Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organisation (CSIRO).
