Psychic British ex-police constable loses harassment court case against Manchester police

A psychic who claimed he was being harassed by police officers after being sacked by the force has had his case thrown out of court. Alan Power, 64, was briefly employed by Greater Manchester Police training special constables – but was sacked in October 2008 after bosses learned he had tried to involve officers in psychic research.

Family of 'fortune tellers' charged for swindling $40 million dollars from customers in New York and Florida!

The Marks family claimed to be psychics as they amassed a $40 million fortune ripping off trusting clients, prosecutors say. Texas woman goes on tour with her 'ancient' crystal skull 'Max'...that talks to her, she claims

His name is "Max." He is made of clear quartz and was discovered nearly 100 years ago in a Mayan tomb in Guatemala.  Max is believed to be between 5,000 and 36,000 years old, and ancient legend has it that Max is one of 13 life-size crystal skulls that exist in the world. It is also known for partly inspiring the crystal skull in the most recent Indiana Jones film, according to his keeper, JoAnn Parks.

No charges for Texas psychic who gave false tip

The so-called psychic who called in a tip to authorities about bodies buried in a Liberty County home will not face charges. That tip turned out to be false. According to Liberty County officials, there was no criminal intent in the tip, which is why no legal action will be pursued.

Doomsday prophet (and bicycle repairman) is charged in Malaysia for wrongly predicting End of the World!

t's bad enough that the world didn't end on May 21 for followers of Christian fringe group leader Harold Camping, but things got worse for a Malawian disciple who pleaded guilty for distributing false leaflets about the end of the world.  Saduki Mwambene, a 39-year-old bicycle repairman, got six month suspended sentence for distributing pamphlets about Camping's doomsday predictions, Agence France Presse reported on June 12.

Romania's witches vow to take revenge on tax-hungry politicians. Self-declared witches in Romania are preparing to curse the country's rulers publicly for taxing their profession under an amended labour law. Poisonous mandrake plants are due to be hurled into the River Danube and queen witch Bratara Buzea has devised a spell involving cat dung and a dead dog.  Income tax of 16% and health and pension payments have been imposed.

Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia man leaves wife and children (but takes their savings), due to advice by local medium who claimed the the wife was a deadly demon!
