Residents in a Chinese city have been stunned after a giant mirage of a 'ghost city' towered across the skyline.

UFO over Jerusalem just a marketing stunt for UFO blockbuster coming out this Summer?
It's the footage that has true believers in a spin.  Several videos posted to YouTube last week appear to show a strange ball of light hovering above a Jerusalem shrine before disappearing into the night. At first the clips, shot from different angles, seemed convincing -- or at least like an elaborate hoax.

COMSTECH, an Islamic scientific think tank blames HAARP for global disasters such as earthquakes, including the recent flood in Pakistan!

Comstech’s magnificent headquarters are located on Constitution Avenue in Islamabad. It has been headed by Dr Atta-ur-Rahman since 1996. Although its performance has been consistently mediocre, the organisation has now descended to an all-time low.  Recently Dr Rahman published an eye-popping article entitled HAARP (Dawn, Oct 17). The article claims that a physics research project, based in Alaska, may have been used by the US to trigger earthquakes globally, and could also have caused the catastrophic floods in Pakistan. Dr Rahman concludes with a chilling question: “Is the HAARP then, a harmless research tool — or a weapon of mass destruction far more lethal than nuclear weapons? We may never know.”

Bo Si the Psychic Panda is no Paul the Psychic Octopus!
First there was Paul the octopus, now there's Bo Si, the "psychic" panda.  Bo Si picked a Chinese athlete to be the first gold medal winner of the Asian Games -- and Yuan Xiaochao promptly won for wushu, boosting the popularity of the 12 giant pandas at Xiangjiang Safari Park in Guangzhou.  But given China are so dominant, are favorites to finish top of the medals table and have the biggest squad at the Games, critics said it hardly proved Bo Si's telepathic powers.  And it emerged Bo Si had been given the option to pick a bamboo shoot, which represented a Chinese winner, or an apple for a foreigner. Pandas exist on a bamboo diet.

Voodoo and voodoo dolls the cause of Ohio families tragedies!
Patricia Martins hurried out the door to take her kids to school just as the sun climbed from the horizon last week. Scattered around her car, she made a strange discovery: Five voodoo dolls with the names of her and her family pinned on them.  Some might have seen it as a Halloween prank, but to Martins, the act was a threat and a supernatural curse. She told her children not to touch the push pin-riddled dolls and called police.
Martins, a 39-year-old Mansfield resident, said her life hasn't been the same since the voodoo dolls entered it.

Reoccurring ghost of former student still haunts Kansas State University theater

A dead student’s ghost has haunted K-State’s Purple Masque Theatre for more than 30 years, spilling paint cans, stealing costumes and flickering lights.  Ask anyone familiar with Nick the ghost, and you’ll hear some story of misfortune or odd occurrence. Many believe he is still at large today.  But with plans to move the Masque, and build a new Welcome Center in its place, what will happen to Nick? Will his soul still linger beneath the stone seats of East Stadium, or will he follow the Purple Masque to its new location?  Alexis Warden, freshman in theater, said she thinks Nick will stay in East Stadium.  “His connection isn’t to the theater itself, it’s the connection to that area on campus,” Warden said. “I don’t know if he will stick around and ‘haunt’ the new Welcome Center or not, whether he sticks around or not just depends on him, I guess.”

Man claims innocence over death of wife during exorcism
For the past 29 months, Jan David Clark has sat in an isolation cell in the Ector County Detention Center wondering how things could have gone so awry.  Though he admits to killing his wife during an attempted exorcism in February 2008, he maintains he never intended to harm the woman he “loved and spoiled” for 17 years.  “That was not a willing thing that took place,” Clark, 63, recalled in a jailhouse interview Tuesday. “As far as I’m concerned, it’s still a supernatural thing.”

Crop circle near Woolaston attracts attention of Norwegian visiting the United Kingdom
Nils Kenneth Fordal, who was informed of the new crop circle near Woolaston on July 19, has studied crop circles for years.  Fordal’s been going to Wiltshire with fellow-enthusiast Dorthe Elisabeth Wennerfeldt for several weeks every year since 2006. The region has been known for its increasingly elaborate designs since the 1970s, National Geographic News reports.  He tells the BBC this particular formation “is a nice circle” and “quite special because it is the first time we have been into a formation so close to the water.”

Former Clinton Chief of Staff, John Podesta, writes forward to new UFO book, "UFO's: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go On the Record", by Leslie Kean
He’s not saying he was abducted by a UFO and probed or anything, but former President Clinton’s chief of staff John Podesta is lending his name to a new book on UFOs.  Podesta has written the foreword for “UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record” by investigative journalist Leslie Kean, which will be released Aug. 10.  This isn’t that shocking, as Podesta has been on the record before as an advocate for the Pentagon to release classified government papers on UFO investigations.

Multiple witnesses observe 'fireball' UFO over Vancouver, Washington

Brenda Ellis was getting ready for bed Thursday night when her brother called her outside and pointed to the sky. Before she could respond, Ellis said her daughter, Ashley Ellis, let out a shrill scream.  Darting back and forth in the night sky were what Ellis described as four unidentified flying objects. Yes, UFOs.  To be specific, they were four orange bulbs that dashed overhead until they ascended higher and higher, turned to white and disappeared, according to Ellis.  “They were super quiet, and so bright and so close,” said Ellis, who was in the backyard of her Cascade Park home when she saw them taking off into the southern sky.  The National UFO Reporting Center in Seattle (NUFORC) confirmed Ellis’ report and noted there were two other UFO accounts Thursday, one each in Vancouver and Seattle.

Ghost of last woman to be hanged in Britain haunts churchyard of her victim

She was the last woman ever hanged in Britain and she could still be haunting a churchyard in Penn.  Or so a paranormal researcher believes.  Author and photographer Eddie Brazil, 54, has been researching for his book about haunted churches around England.  His work has led to him to the idea that the ghost of Ruth Ellis – who was executed in 1955 – may be returning to the site where she murdered her lover David Blakely.
