Newly found memo has UFOlogists believing the 'Roswell Crash' was real!

Does a recently discovered 1950 memo found in FBI archives prove that the U.S. government recovered flying saucers and alien bodies in Roswell, New Mexico?  That's what many news outlets and websites are reporting. The British tabloid The Sun, for example, states that "The amazing UFO find at Roswell, New Mexico, was detailed by FBI agent Guy Hottel in a 1950 memo to the agency's director."

U.S. Navy tests real-life 'laser ray-gun'!

With their new high-energy laser weapon, the U.S. Navy has succeeded in combining buccaneers and Buck Rogers. Called the Maritime Laser Demonstrator, the ray gun quickly disabled a small boat in a recent test. A man claims he had an out-of-body experience and met Jesus after nearly dying in a car accident.  John Edwards says he saw the 'city of light' while in the emergency room at St. Edwards Hospital in Fort Smith, Arizona.

Sammy Hagar says he had alien encounter!

Rocker Sammy Hagar said he’s pretty sure aliens exist because “a few decades ago” a pair of extraterrestrials tapped into his mind through some kind of Wi-Fi connection.  In his new memoir “Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock,” the ex-Van Halen frontman writes about a vivid dream where he says he stumbled upon a UFO with two aliens inside near Fontana, Calif.

U.S. Catholic Church conference ends with demand for more exorcists!

The rite of exorcism, rendered gory by Hollywood and ridiculed by many modern believers, has largely fallen out of favor in the Roman Catholic Church in the United States. There are only a handful of priests in the country trained as exorcists, but they say they are overwhelmed with requests from people who fear they are possessed by the Devil.  Now, American bishops are holding a conference on Friday and Saturday to prepare more priests and bishops to respond to the demand. The purpose is not necessarily to revive the practice, the organizers say, but to help Catholic clergy members learn how to distinguish who really needs an exorcism from who really needs a psychiatrist, or perhaps some pastoral care.

...On the other hand Polish Exorcists confident that their numbers are rising in the Catholic Church!

Since 1999 the number of Polish exorcists has surged from 30 to over a 100, despite the influence of the Catholic Church waning in an increasingly secular Poland.  Exorcists attribute the increase in their numbers to growing scepticism in psychology in the wider Polish population, and people looking for spiritual reasons for mental disorders.  In recognition of modern science, however, exorcists now work in tandem with psychologists in order to distinguish between psychiatric problems and the work of the devil.
