Tomb of Caligula may have been discovered after Italian police arrest smuggler

The lost tomb of Caligula has been found, according to Italian police, after the arrest of a man trying to smuggle abroad a statue of the notorious Roman emperor recovered from the site.

Germany honors and display the ashes of Paul the Psychic Octopus

Paul the octopus, who shot to fame during the football World Cup last year for his flawless record in predicting the outcome of games, will get a shrine to mark three months since he died, his aquarium said Monday. psychic  The tentacled tipster will on Thursday be honoured with a "Paul Corner" at his former home, containing his ashes and a "huge memorial," the centre in western Germany said.

Australian crocodile 'Burt' the next psychic animal phenom?

UFO captured on camera of airplane passenger flying over Brazil

An astonishing UFO event has taken place in the skies above Brazil. Photographs have come to light of a UFO that monitored a plane and terrified travellers. The incident was first reported by the popular UFO website www.ufocasebook.com.  The man who took the photos as the plane flew over Rio de Janiero (three in total and two of which can be viewed above and below) was a passenger on the airplane who was on vacation.  Several other passengers saw the object in question, which was described by witnesses as an egg-shaped ball of light.  Some passengers screamed in fear as they felt the plane was too close to the UFO, and there was the possibility of a collision between the two craft.  According to statements of passengers, the UFO maneuvered among the clouds, but continued to monitor the aircraft for about two minutes .  The camera used to capture the UFO was a Nokia 3120 Classic.  This publication has extensively reported on small orbs sent by an alien civilization located in Andromeda to monitor Earth and has received information that these orbs enter Earth above Brazil through a star-gate. The orbs are "unmanned" and travel across galaxies at speeds well beyond that of light.  Government scientists studying UFOs make frequent trips to Brazil and will certainly be studying this case.

New archeological evidence may prove new origins for the Dead Sea Scrolls

The recent decoding of a cryptic cup, the excavation of ancient Jerusalem tunnels, and other archaeological detective work may help solve one of the great biblical mysteries: Who wrote the Dead Sea Scrolls?  The new clues hint that the scrolls, which include some of the oldest known biblical documents, may have been the textual treasures of several groups, hidden away during wartime—and may even be "the great treasure from the Jerusalem Temple," which held the Ark of the Covenant, according to the Bible.  The Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered more than 60 years ago in seaside caves near an ancient settlement called Qumran. The conventional wisdom is that a breakaway Jewish sect called the Essenes—thought to have occupied Qumran during the first centuries B.C. and A.D.—wrote all the parchment and papyrus scrolls.  But new research suggests many of the Dead Sea Scrolls originated elsewhere and were written by multiple Jewish groups, some fleeing the circa-A.D. 70 Roman siege that destroyed the legendary Temple in Jerusalem.

UFO seen over South African town of Pretoria

Residents in Pretoria were awestruck by a reported UFO sighting, which appeared for two consecutive nights in the town of Booysens.  "I couldn't make out the shape of the object because the three lights were too bright, but it almost had a heart shape because there were two lights on top, a blue light on the left and an emerald green light directly next to it, on the right side, with a big bright white light underneath it which shone straight down," Engela Van der Spuy (67), a resident of Booysens, told Beeld.

According to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Paul the Psychic Octopus is a symbol of Western 'decadence and decay'!!

English witch drags local Geolong police officer along her car and claims innocence because...she's an alien and Earthly rules don't apply to her!!

A self-proclaimed Geelong witch told a traffic cop she was not subject to earthly laws as she was "a being from another world".  "Your laws and penalties don't apply to me. I'm not accepting them, I'm sorry, I must go, thank you," Eilish De Avalon said, driving off with the officer's arm caught in her driver's side door.

Researchers believe they've discovered King Arthur's legendary Round Table and it was a Roman-style amphitheater!

Researchers exploring the legend of Britain’s most famous Knight believe his stronghold of Camelot was built on the site of a recently discovered Roman amphitheatre in Chester.  Legend has it that his Knights would gather before battle at a round table where they would receive instructions from their King. But rather than it being a piece of furniture, historians believe it would have been a vast wood and stone structure which would have allowed more than 1,000 of his followers to gather.  Historians believe regional noblemen would have sat in the front row of a circular meeting place, with lower ranked subjects on stone benches grouped around the outside.

Does a full Moon really cause us to go crazy?

There's a bad moon on the rise? Werewolves, lunatics and criminals, we all know, famously respond to the light of the full moon.

But Creedence Clearwater Revival lyrics aside, an upcoming crime study reinforces findings that the full moon's malign influence is, well, moonshine.

"Western lore has long suggested a relationship between the phases of the moon and various forms of aberrant, antisocial, deviant, and criminal human conduct," begins the Journal of Criminal Justicestudy led by criminologist Joseph Schafer of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. "Policing, crime, and criminal justice have not been immune from speculation concerning the lunar-crime relationship."
