According to researchers at SINTEF (Foundation for Scientific and Industrial Research) in Norway, new theories explain collapse of Twin Towers on 9-11, a combination of sprinkler water and molten aluminum!

According to a theory advanced by a SINTEF materials scientist, a mixture of water from sprinkler systems and molten aluminium from melted aircraft hulls created explosions that led to the collapse of the Twin Towers in Manhattan.

Report in Geology magazine find rich mineral discoveries on Mars could have be the home of possible life
“We discovered locations at Noctis Labyrinthus that show many kinds of minerals that formed by water activity,” said Catherine Weitz, lead author and senior scientist at the Planetary Science Institute. “The clays we found, called iron/magnesium (Fe/Mg)-smectites, are much younger at Noctis Labyrinthus relative to those found in the ancient rocks on Mars, which indicates a different water environment in these depressions relative to what was happening elsewhere on Mars.”

College in Mumbai, India to launch academic course on the study of Ghosts
A leading college in Mumbai hosted a seminar on ghosts on September 19, the first time in Indian academic history that graduate students were officially treated to studying phenomena of those hair-raising sounds and visions that usually visit past the midnight hour.

Indian government to pass bill banning human sacrafice, black magic and other magical practices

Chanting to cure snakebites, claiming to be a reincarnated spouse to obtain sex, and charging for miracles could soon be banned by an Indian state seeking to stop charlatans preying on the vulnerable. Many superstitions are widely held in India but a campaign group is lobbying hard for a new law in the western state of Maharashtra to outlaw several exploitative activities, with penalties of fines or up to seven years in jail. Missouri flooding could slow down local Bigfoot activity, according to local Bigfoot trackers

Indian television guru, Swami Ramdev, threatens to form Yoga militia against government corruption
A television yoga guru who has led protests against corruption in India threatened to form a militia on Wednesday as a new demonstration against the government drew thousands in New Delhi.  Yoga star Swami Ramdev, who was evicted from the capital along with thousands of followers at the weekend in a police crackdown, warned of violence if he was targeted again.

Elderly woman's head cut off in Indian district of Mayurbhanj in fear that she was using black magic on teenage relative!
On the blistering afternoon of May 10, 17-year-old Gouri Murmu turned up at Mayurbhanj district’s Bisoi police station with an aluminium pot in her hand. Inside was the severed head of 60-year-old Ratani Marandi—Gouri’s elder sister’s mother-in-law. The girl told the police that Ratani had cast a black magic spell on her family and it ruined her life forever.

Indian guru (and Avatar) Sathya Sai Baba's condition improves after extensive hospital stay due to organ failure
here is a slight improvement in the overall health condition of Sathya Sai Baba who has been undergoing treatment for multi-organ dysfunction, doctors attending on him said on Saturday.  "Sri Sathya Sai Baba continues to be stable and there is a slight improvement in the overall condition of his health. He continues to be on the ventilator and periodic slow hemodialysis. The functions of the kidneys and lungs are also showing improvement," a health bulletin issued on Saturday evening by A N Safaya, Director of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences here, said.

The Dalit (formerly untouchable) community is building a temple in Banka village in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh to worship the Goddess of the English language, which they believe will help them climb up the social and economic ladder.

Indian traffic cops hope to curb road accidents through the use of pyramid power in Nagpur

Traffic officers in Nagpur, 870km west of Mumbai, have agreed to allow small pyramids to be placed at 10 accident-prone sites in the city to see if their claimed positive energy can reduce crashes.  Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sahebrao Patil said the road safety initiative came about after a meeting with an expert in Vastu, an ancient Hindu system of construction which is similar to Chinese Feng Shui.

A piece of wood from the 'True Cross' stolen from the Archdiocese of Boston
A janitor at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross entered the church’s Blessed Sacrament Chapel early one recent morning and made a startling discovery: A thief had pried open a panel covering a small glass case and stolen a small piece of wood venerated by Catholics as a fragment of the cross on which Jesus was crucified.  The relic, one of the oldest and most treasured possessions of the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston, has not been seen since, and now on the wall in the dim chapel hangs a cross with its base pried open and an empty cavity where the relic once rested.
