Image of the Virgin Mary "miraculously" appears in Tampa burger joint.

 
Tampa, Florida -- An Ybor City restaurant's name has taken on a new meaning after some say the image of the Virgin Mary appeared on one of its walls. The restaurant is Hamburger Mary's and the image first got attention over the weekend after some customers noted its appearance on a stainless steel plate on the wall near the kitchen.

Woman in Nepal village beaten for suspicions of using witchcraft!

A woman of Mahadeva-3 in Saptari district has been beaten by locals 13 times since past four years accusing her of practicing witchcraft, but the administration has not taken action against any offender till date. Siya Devi Mandal, 45, was dubbed a witch by her neighbors and thrashed brutally last November by her neighbors Shyam Prasad Mandal and his wife Rukmini Devi Mandal after the couple’s eight-year-old daughter complained of abdominal pain.

Siberian village plagued with goat livestock being drained of all their blood...is it a vampire or chupacabra?!

A blood-sucking creature is preying upon goats near Novosibirsk. As rational explanations run thin on the ground, the specter of the so-called chupacabra raises its demon head. School girl miraculously returns to life in Zimbabwe morgue!

The school authorities had earlier sent the girl home so she could get treatment after she had complained of a severe headache. She reportedly collapsed while at home, resulting in her being rushed to a medical centre in the Avenues.  “It appears she had not died, but had fallen into a comma and she regained consciousness while in the mortuary, perhaps because of the cold. Fortunately an attendant heard her coughing and assisted her,” said a teacher at the school.

Giant crop circle appears near Stonehenge!

Communion wafer 'miraculously' turns blood red in a St. Paul, Minnesota church

A consecrated host that fell to the floor last month at St. Augustine Catholic Church in South St. Paul should have dissolved soon afterward. Instead, it turned blood red.  Now Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis officials are investigating whether they have a possible miracle on their hands or if something like a fungus or bacteria could be causing the change in color.

'Mystery creature' roaming Quaong  Ngai province of Vietnam

According to Cao Tan Son, police chief of the Binh Dong Commune, these mysterious incidents have been occurring since May 7 at the foot of Dinh Mountain in Son Tra Commune.  However, no one has seen the strange creature that could have caused such large footprints measuring almost 12-15cm. Over 20 dogs have also been killed in the area and now around 280 households of the commune are living in panic.  Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, a 70-year-old woman was the first to find her dead pet dog on the night of May 7. She said that her dog was found without its head and some body organs.

Pope John Paul II's body to be exhumed before beautification process setting stage for sainthood!

Pope John Paul II's coffin was exhumed today ahead of his beatification as tens of thousands of people began arriving in Rome for one of the biggest events in the Catholic church since his funeral in 2005.  The coffin was removed from the crypts below St Peter's Basilica while top Vatican officials and some of the late pope's closest aides looked on and prayed.  Those present at the ceremony included Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, his personal secretary and right-hand man for decades, and the Polish nuns who ran the papal household for 27 years.

It's well known that cleanliness is up there next to Godliness, but Roisin McCourt wasn't expecting Jesus to pop out of her washing machine load.  Dance teacher Ms McCourt was shocked when she saw the unusual brown stain, which shows what seem to be the facial features of a long-haired, bearded man.  Ms McCourt, 31, has since been mobbed with requests from believers wishing to make a pilgrimage to see the holy imprint.

A 20-year-old man who claims to police he is a vampire has been charged with assault after he burned a “V” into the face of a teenager.


Evan Francis Brown, Albertville, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for second-degree assault, a felony, after he appeared in Gadsden Municipal Court on misdemeanor charges, Gadsden Police detective Mike Hooks said.  Brown is charged in connection with an incident in October in which he allegedly heated a fork or a spoon on the stove and used it to burn a “V” into a 17-year-old’s forehead.

Philadelphia parents go on trial for toddlers death due to faith healing

A Philadelphia forensic pathologist told a Common Pleas Court jury Tuesday that a 2-year-old Rhawnhurst boy would almost certainly be alive had he received routine medical care before he died last year of pneumonia.  "This type of pneumonia, this type of bacteria, is preventable through vaccination and treatable with antibiotics," testified Assistant Medical Examiner Edwin Lieberman, referring to the disease that killed Kent Schaible in January 2009.

Champion, a town in Wisconsin, first place in U.S. to be a recognized as a holy site of the Virgin Mary's apparition

 A Wisconsin site where an apparition of the Virgin Mary allegedly appeared three times to a Belgian-born nun in 1859 has earned the Roman Catholic Church's designation as the only of its kind in the U.S.  The site in the town of Champion has long been a popular destination for the faithful since the apparition was reported by Sister Adele Brise.  But only in the last two years did the Diocese of Green Bay undertake the official process to earn the distinction that puts it in company with sites including Lourdes, France; Guadalupe, Mexico; and Fatima, Portugal.  Bishop David Ricken of the Diocese of Green Bay announced Wednesday he officially approved the sightings as legitimate apparitions at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help at Champion.

Russian scientist has discovered the Fountain of Youth...in a pill!

It may sound like science fiction but researchers believe they have discovered the 'Holy Grail' - an anti-ageing pill that will add decades to our lives.  Furthermore its creator Professor Vladimir Skulachev said it should be available to the public within two years.  The Russian scientist from Moscow State University, said the drug works by halting the damaging effects that oxygen can have on the body's cells.

'Cursed' accident-prone road to be exorcised at prayer vigil in Surry, England

JUNCTION nine of the M25 may have been hexed, the pastor of an Evangelical church has claimed.  Gerald Coates, of the Pioneer Engage Church in Epsom Road, Leatherhead, believes someone "motivated by dark forces" could have been recording messages of evil onto cassette tapes and then strewing the reel around areas they wish to curse.  Mr Coates, who lives in Effingham, said he had found large amounts of tape reels in the area, including around the roundabouts that lead onto junction 9 of the motorway.

French priest prays for President Sarkozy to have a heart attack because of his attack on the Roma people throughout France

Several churchmen yesterday joined a chorus of criticism of President Nicolas Sarkozy’s decision to expel dozens of Roma from France, with one priest praying for him to be divinely struck by a heart attack.  Fr Arthur Hervet of the church of St Martin Esquermes of Lille in northern France said he was turning to God because he did not believe those in power had any plans to help the Roma, except deport them.

New York Governor Patterson seeks divine protection through a Kabbalah bracelet

Gov.
