While filming in London, Sandra Bullock decides to become paranormal investigator!

Sandra Bullock is currently in London filming a Sci-Fi thriller called "Gravity" with George Clooney, but the Sun, a British tabloid, reports her offscreen activities are more focused on the paranormal.  The Oscar-winning actress is staying in a converted church, but sources say she is asking her producers to investigate the dwelling because she fears it's haunted.

Miraculous image of Jesus found in the old candle wax of a church in Wiltshire, England!

The cleaner at a Wiltshire, England church was just doing a job when they scraped up what some call divine drippings -- a pool of melted candle wax resembling Jesus.  Nicky Irwin, a warden at the parish church of Ogbourne St. George, spotted the melted messiah during the Easter season.

Texas woman goes on tour with her 'ancient' crystal skull 'Max'...that talks to her, she claims

His name is "Max." He is made of clear quartz and was discovered nearly 100 years ago in a Mayan tomb in Guatemala.  Max is believed to be between 5,000 and 36,000 years old, and ancient legend has it that Max is one of 13 life-size crystal skulls that exist in the world. No charges for Texas psychic who gave false tip

The so-called psychic who called in a tip to authorities about bodies buried in a Liberty County home will not face charges. That tip turned out to be false. According to Liberty County officials, there was no criminal intent in the tip, which is why no legal action will be pursued.

Doomsday prophet (and bicycle repairman) is charged in Malaysia for wrongly predicting End of the World!

t's bad enough that the world didn't end on May 21 for followers of Christian fringe group leader Harold Camping, but things got worse for a Malawian disciple who pleaded guilty for distributing false leaflets about the end of the world.  Saduki Mwambene, a 39-year-old bicycle repairman, got six month suspended sentence for distributing pamphlets about Camping's doomsday predictions, Agence France Presse reported on June 12.

Florida man crashes motorcycle (drunk) and blames the Boogeyman!

Motorcycle accidents are certainly scary -- but police in Florida say they're not the work of the boogeyman.
After being found trapped underneath a motorcycle on the side of a road in Naples, a man accused of drunken driving told police that an imaginary monster was responsible for the mishap.

Psychic's 'tip' leaves Texas police on wild goose chase for hoaxed mass murder grave site

Texas police were investigating whether a tip-off from a psychic about a mass grave containing dozens of dismembered bodies was in fact a hoax after an intense search found no bodies.  State, local and federal agents combed the area around a rural home after a woman who claimed to be psychic called police twice to report the mass grave at in Hardin, Texas about 50 miles (31 kilometers) northeast of Houston.

Amateur astronomer believes he has found evidence of 'space stations' on Mars, using Google Mars!

Italian art historian believes the Shroud of Turin dates back to the Italian artist Giotto di Bondone in 1315

Luciano Buso claims to have found Giotto di Bondone's signature hidden in the 14ft-long, sepia-coloured burial cloth, as well as the number 15.  The historian believes that the number is a reference to 1315, and that the artist was commissioned in that year to come up with an exact copy of the relic because the original was badly damaged after centuries of being hawked around the Holy Land and Europe.

Australian Department of Defense claims it accidentally lost it's UFO 'X-files'

COULD there be any better fodder for Australia's conspiracy theorists? The Department of Defence has ''lost'' its X-Files.  For decades, Defence officials dutifully investigated an unknown number of UFO sightings being reported all over the country. Intelligence officers attached to the Royal Australian Air Force checked the known movement of aircraft against reported sightings, and politely responded by mail to everyone who claimed they saw floating lights or flat saucers or streaking vapour trails. Middle-aged sorcerer beaten to death for threatening Cambodian village with black magic

 A murderer is being sought by police after a 43-year-old “sorcerer” was killed in Pursat province’s Kandieng district on Thursday night, after he allegedly provoked villagers with threats of black magic.  Cheng Poy, 43, was found dead after he was beaten near his home in the Damrei Sar village of Koh Chhum commune, while returning home from drinking palm wine with his friends in the village, Kandieng district deputy police chief Chheang Leng said yesterday.
