Seven bodies were stolen from niches at the cemetery in Arico, Tenerife, in the early hours of New Year’s Day. The crime was discovered by a local woman who went to leave flowers at the cemetery and called the police. All of the stolen bodies are men, except one. The Guardia Civil believe that an Afro-Cuban Satanic Sect may be behind the events, which are similar to others three years ago. Locals saw people near the cemetery dressed in white robes.
