New Hampshire commemorates the site of the famous Betty and Barney Hill UFO abduction
Many states might shy away from immortalizing its UFO history. But the State of New Hampshire is known for its fiercely independent people and its “live free or die” motto. On July 20, 2011, it erected a historical marker to commemorate the September 19-20, 1961 close encounter and “lost” time of Portsmouth residents Betty and Barney Hill.

Cursed British arcade owner willing to pay two grand to whoever can help break the curse!

Doug Hill, who owns The Gauntlet shopping arcade in the town, received the curse disguised as a sympathy card.  Mr Hill said: "What they're doing is messing with people's lives, but I'm not taking the curse seriously."  The inside of the card includes symbols such as an inverted pentagram and Latin phrases.

School house in South Park haunted....South Park Pennsylvania, not Colorado!

With as long a history as many buildings in the Pittsburgh area have, it's no wonder that some people have tales of hauntings.  Channel 4 Action News' Sheldon Ingram tagged along with paranormal research group Steel Town Paranormal to examine the storied, and possibly spooky, history of one local structure -- the Broughton School in South Park.

Chinese villagers mistake malnourished monkey for alien life form!
This ape made a monkey of Chinese villagers who feared it was a visitor from another world.  Locals panicked when Mao Xiping, a housewife from the village of Gezhai, in Henan province, central China, found the scraggy simian stealing cucumbers from her flat.
